Life
isn't a fairy tale. It can be heart-wrenching and painful. Difficult
times come to us all and many times they shape who we are and how we
look at the world. We can find strength through the valleys as we learn
to climb the mountains.
I have been truly blessed despite and through the tough times of my life.
I write both nonfiction and fiction. It is my deepest hope that within the pages of my romantic suspense books, that they will whisk you away to far lands such as to a mouse -laden castle in 17th century England or to a colorful bazaar with curry-laden dishes in the afternoon heat of India.
In my Battle Cry Devotional series, I pray the shared experiences of being women and mothers, along with scriptures from the Bible and God's guidance will refresh your souls.
Wherever we find ourselves on our adventures, may you feel closer to the Lord and His abiding love.....and find strength for the journey.

My Review
(Written and Provided by Amber McCallister)
A Heart’s Home is a stunning portrayal of true love at its
finest. We glimpse an honest and pure love that will have readers’ day dreaming
about it for days, months, and years to come. This love will burrow under your
skin and create a longing in the depths of your heart to be fulfilled. A
Heart’s Home will carefully place you under its spell from which you will never
want to awaken from.
In A Heart’s Home, we meet the mesmerizing and captivating
characters of Braddock and Asyra. This unlikely duo will touch your heart and
have you cheering for them in one time. They are as different from each other
as night is from day, but love knows not about and cares nothing for such
differences. You will cry, cheer, and struggle along with Braddock and Asyra as
they work to overcome danger, strive to fulfill the plans for the lives, and
come face to face with a love that can’t easily be denied.
As you seek God’s will for your life, things may take a
curious turn here and there, but only towards what He has ordained to be. We
should never fear the love that has been placed in our hearts. The day we do is
the day we begin to die. We are made to love, and when that love is denied, we
are never the same. The full life intended by God is never completely reached.
He will not place a love in our heart that He will not allow to blossom and
grow. We need to trust Him completely with our life, and only then will the
good He has intended come to pass. Only then, will we know true joy and
unparalleled bliss.
Once again, I have been blown away by the immense talent
that Laura J Marshall possesses. The overwhelming heart of this story brought
me to my knees in awe and longing. Laura never ceases to amaze me in the depth
and breathe of her writing skills. This is another story that I couldn’t put down.
I read it one sitting, and treasured every word, character, and scene. Romance
readers will not want to miss A Heart’s Home.
